Our Team
After graduating from the University of Texas in 1980, Claud McMordie began his tax and business consulting career with local CPA firms in Houston and Dallas, Texas. In April, 1986 W. Claud McMordie, CPA opened as a sole practitioner in Austin, Texas with fewer than 20 accounts. Today, McMordie & Company has more than 250 active accounts and is still growing.

Sandy earned a BBA degree in English and a Master of Library Science degree and worked in those careers, as well as in small business ownership, before graduating with a degree in accounting and becoming a CPA in 1983. She worked for a public accounting firm located in Beaumont TX in the areas of tax, accounting services and audit for twenty years before joining McMordie & Company in December 2006.
